The iconic Ford Taurus SHO is back! The original SHO used a high-revving 220-hp 3.0L V6 (later a 235-hp 3.4L V8) developed and built by Yamaha. The new SHO’s uses the soon-to-be venerable EcoBoost 3.5 twin turbo charged V6 direct injected engine that will be making 365 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 350 ft.-lb of torque at 3,500 rpm. That makes this version of Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 the most powerful one available with 10 more horsepower than its other applications.. *insert drool here* It will be mated to and AWD drivetain and will bolted to a 6 speed automatic with rev matching and it will reportedly hold the gears even as the tach is bouncing of the rev limiter! I never thought I’d say this but:

‘I want to wake up next to a man everyday’ (edit by Wooley)

Now people pray to whatever God you pray to that Ford will be smart and drop this drivetrain (if at all physically possible) into the Focus! PLEASE GOD! FOMOCO YOU OWE US ONE!
