I got my DRs on my street wheels last week, and got my slicks on my drag wheels earlier this evening.

I know that it will not make it long, so I am getting ready to drop in a modified AOD. Tranny is my weak point currently. Every other thing is maxxed out. What's bad is that I have the skinnies for up front, but no tires for them. Looking for those right now. I don't really want to buy a brand new set. If you need slicks, I know of a could of other sets. One guy has a set of ET Streets (technically a DOT legal slick) for $100. You just need to have a set of 15" wheels. He is including a set of 10 holes with them, but 10 holes are 4 lug.

ET Streets are bias-ply, not DRs. Drs are good with auto trannys, but I found that I hit them way too hard for them to hook. I had to go to bias-ply. I went straight to MT ET Drag 26x10.5

They are street legal, but wear out extremely fast. I suggest that you use them just for track tires, or those nights that you might be out running someone. Keep the speed down on the roads to keep them from heating up. Store them indoors in a controlled environment and out of sunlight, just like you would a slick.

yea, they would be track tires only. I just don't make enough power to keep from bogging the full slicks i currently have.
