I always hear the same thing when anyone asks if my car is a 6 speed: kook - "Is it 6 speed?" me - "No, it's auto." kook - "Oh, darn." me thinking to myself - "You have no idea..." I let my friend drive my Supra for a bit the other day, since he has a 6 speed single turbo. He wanted to see what a built auto was like, since everyone's always raving about "must have a 6 speed." He's had his car since 2000, and after he drove mine, he said he was sold on the built auto. He's actually considering changing his, or selling it to get an auto next year. I was hooked on getting 6 sp before I drove the auto, as well. Stock, the car actually raised my eyebrows, but the built tranny gives no mercy to anyone trying to out shift it. The power stays right where it should, with almost zero drop in RPMs as it changes gears. It is quite impressive, but I never thought a 6 speed owner would ever want to convert after driving my car.

Thnx! Yeah, he said his would be better for the road course, although we had a friend with a built auto that used to race a lot at Road Atlanta. He used to do extremely well against the cars he raced.

I think I have seen it before but most all Supras look the same to me unless something on it truly stands out.

Like my Top Secret hood, CCW, & TRD wing combo? I haven't seen the Top Secret hood on many Sups. Brian with the blue one has it, and I've seen TRD hoods on a few like Patrycja's.

Yeah, I have seen it a couple of times maybe at the Varsity or something. Still would have never guessed it was an automatic.

My cover's blown - I'm lying, so don't believe me. I have no Supra and if I did, it would never be fast cause I'm too skeered to drive something with a lot of hp. I'm just a wannabe ricer with two good feet as transportation. I thought about putting TRD wings on the backs of my shoes so I can at least have some kind of hp.

I knew it! and I have never seen this car in person. Na, I love the car, turbo cars are nice when Auto. They stay in boost between shifts. Also, I know what plans you told me for the car and all that you've been through with this car. Definitely dedicated to it.
