From Executive orders to Czars to FCC and EPA regulations they have created an infrastructure capable of completely by-passing Congress and the courts...

All they need now is a disaster in order to "save us".

Like a collapse of our currency.

Most people (particularly Americans) are no longer capable of being self-sufficient off just the land. They will happily give up freedom for security.
I'm not saying it will happen soon. They are playing a long game, but our rights are being slowly chipped away.
