That's actually just a Honda Civic 1500. They dropped the CVCC moniker starting in 1980 for the Civic line. It did have same basic engine, though. It's an upgrade (and sort of a mod), but it isn't a "resto-mod" piece. Resto-mods involve modifying the car with newer model car parts. New and old. I'm keeping mine period correct as best I can.

I think it could look neat, but execution will be everything.

Maybe some lines that would flatter the car like on this Alpina front air dam.

Not sure QD's Honda would be able to pull that off. QD, just keep it subtle. No stickers unless they are original.....my opinion.
