That's actually just a Honda Civic 1500. They dropped the CVCC moniker starting in 1980 for the Civic line. It did have same basic engine, though. It's an upgrade (and sort of a mod), but it isn't a "resto-mod" piece. Resto-mods involve modifying the car with newer model car parts. New and old. I'm keeping mine period correct as best I can.

For one, it's a 1980. This is the first year of the second generation Civic. The body is a little larger. The interior is pretty much completely different. No manual choke. This was the first of the 4x100 hub Civics.

Just out of curiousity, didn't you drop the 1800cc engine in your cvcc?

I think it could look neat, but execution will be everything.

Maybe some lines that would flatter the car like on this Alpina front air dam.

Not sure QD's Honda would be able to pull that off. QD, just keep it subtle. No stickers unless they are original.....my opinion.
