You also kept GM in business with those same hard-earned tax dollars lol and technically Ford as well, it was just a few years prior to the GM and Chrysler ordeals

I've had a few Mustangs... really loved my '68.

But, yes, DSM's are my mistake I keep coming back to. oh well... it could be worse.

I like my rotarys. This Mustang came close to getting a 13b-rew dropped in it.

All of my rotarys have been a LOT more reliable than my Mustang. This Mustang cost me $4K the FIRST time it broke down. And that was just repairing it. I've only had ONE rotary blow up out of all of the RX7s that I have had - and that one was my fault for overheating it (forgot to inform the substitute driver on how to turn on the radiator fan).

Rotarys are very reliable if you maintain them properly - most people that do kill them either do not change the oil regularly, drive them like gradmas (they need to be revved out), or they overheat them - especially the REWs.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled postings - already in progress....

chouston! Have you bought your wheels and tires yet? Are you going to be ready to run on time? Did you manage to get that nitrous kit that you were planning to buy? Are you ready to lock this race in?

Thats the problem is alot of people dont drive em like they are supposed to be driven, and the overheating is the only real problem i know of...i like the old 13bs not a huge fan of the new rotar designs in the rx8s but back to topic...

Houston dont puss out of another run with david :boobies:
