Thanks for answering one of my questions, which chouston has ignored - obviously, he hasn't bought them from you yet. Auto GTOs can get it done on DRs.... BTW - Kevin Fiscus was at SGMP yesterday doing testing and ran a 4.45@178mph on DRs. I don't think that he needs man tires..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS-gQMHq2Uc

Those big fleshy drag radials might as well be classified as man tires....if you're pulling sub 1.6 60's in a boat sized GTO on radials more power to you....I don't see it happening with stock suspension, stock cubed 150 shot though
there are only a handful of auto guys in the sub 1.6 range (edit, I take that back, last time I looked there were about 20, now theres close to 60 in the sub 1.6 range....and i'm not interested enough in pedal-less cars to research whats done to each), and everyone of them has suspension upgrades and only about 3-4 are running dr's
p.s.....I had the 5th fastest stock IRS 60' in a 6spd, and fastest 60' (to my knowledge) with stock suspension at 1.527...if you can't get that auto into that range you need tires, every tenth you pick up in the first 60' is potentially worth .2 on the big end...now this is theoretically speaking, I know not everyone cares about every little tenth the way I did but being the fastest cam/nitrous 6spd in the country meant that every hundredth I dropped made it that much harder for someone else to catch me....I haven't raced the car since may of last year and the cars still almost .2 ahead of the next guy....minus some dude in south Ga. claiming faster times with 0 proof

Hell, I know this stock GTO isn't going much faster, no matter what tires are on it. My foxbody is up in the air though on what tires will work best. I have some MT 26" slicks for it right now, but Bob wants me to run on DRs. He runs 7's on his DRs, so he knows how to make them hook. Fiscus went 4.33@180 this afternoon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_xmual5 ... r_embedded

Sounds to me like 04LS1 is chouston.
chouston is too scared to show his face around here anymore. He can't do what he says, and backs out of races for over a year.

The only guy that calls me as "Vert" on here is chouston. Interesting that you type exactly like he does.
