Toyota is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the original AE86 with the 2024 GR86 TRUENO Edition. The TRUENO Edition will come in either Halo (white), or Track bRed (red)… both with black AE86 accenting. In addition, the TRUENO Edition will feature a new performance package for the GR86 that incorporates SACHS dampers & Brembo brakes. This performance package will also be available as an upgrade on regular GR86 models. 860 TRUENO Editions will come to the US. They’ll all be built off the Premium GR86 model, and both manual & automatic transmission options will be available. MSRP will come later this year.
GR86 TRUENO Edition FEATURES
In a tribute to the original ‘80s AE86 design, the TRUENO Edition will feature a black wrapped hood & side-panel graphics, along with a black painted spoiler, black mirror caps & black door handles.
TRUENO badges on the front bumper lip & rear deck lid.
18-inch, 10-spoke TRUENO Edition wheels.
Red leather-trimmed seats along with a red-stitched shift boot & steering wheel.
