The WFC East Meet was Saturday March 27th in Charlotte, at Eurowise (major appreciation to those guys for hosting). This pic was the Atlanta roll-out on Friday afternoon.
This was an awesome weekend to kinda bring us into Spring/Summer… and out of hibernation. It was awesome to get the ATL cars all stretched out and back on the road together. Hotels are always fun when you roll in 20+ cars deep. Really want to thank Mike and the guys at Eurowise for hosting the meet…. and starting at about 11am so we could all sleep it off a lil. Seriously though – had I been the one hosting the event at my shop, I would have been sketched out with all those people around my shop/parts/stuff/tools/etc…. so thanks. Looked like everyone was courteous though, and kept up with their trash, and was generally respectful to the hosts – which was cool. Glad to see everything going as it should. Heard a bunch of the ATL guys got pulled over going back… sorry I missed that guys… but we had to pack up out booth and all. 🙂 Loved the cars man. And to everybody that came out – you’re doin’ it right.
Sunday – a handful of us went to Alabama for the SPEC Clutch meet. It was really cool, laid back, good weather, fun times, funny times… and we hit up a really good Bar-B-Q place and hung out for a bit. Aaaand I finally got to really understand Chase and Gregg’s whole ‘blacked out pics’ thing.
i caught like half a conversation about the blacked out pics. you just sparked my interest again. im looking forward to any other shots you guys got in Charlotte.
the Blacked out thing is friggin hilarious once it’s properly explained haha. Basically, they (fake) black out in different public places… on the fly… without telling anyone at all… even their friends. But they actually really fall down for real. You have to make it believable. It’s not like they lay down and stage the black out…. they just ‘black out’. Then when it happens, someone has to hurry and take a picture of it. But it seems like the places they do this just keeps escalating haha. Gregg and Chase saw an accident happen yesterday. The car had flipped, and they went to see if they were ok. They people who wrecked the car were Mexicans… and they started running from the scene. Who knows why. So Gregg and Chase were running after them yelling things. Then Gregg thought – this would be an epic time to black out… so he did. Right on the top on a flipped, hot car while the police were coming. BUHAHAHA Black outs happen all the time. You can be doing anything and just black out at any given
