Brembo Brakes came out with some extremely interesting news last week when they introduced their new Sensify concept. Basically it is an intelligent electronic braking system that will completely replace the standard hydraulic systems that we have used for so many years. Each wheel will have its own electronic motor and sensor setup, allowing the system to control brake pressure on each corner individually. This does sound like a very expensive and complicated setup, but I must say that I am excited about the idea of using this for race applications. Commuter car, not so much.
