Could Stellantis be interested in selling two of their largest automotive brands, Dodge and Chrysler? We may actually get an answer to that question soon. A man named Frank B. Rhodes Jr. Is in the process of putting together investors and making his pitch right now. The most interesting part is that Mr. Rhodes is not just any business man. He is actually the great grandson of the founder of Chrysler. It sounds like he is extremely concerned about the current direction and overall decision making at Stellantis. He wants to restore the Dodge and Chrysler brands to their former glory.
Honestly, I’m all for this happening. I really like the idea of iconic brands leaving their corporate captors and getting back into the hands of the original family. This could have a really great outcome, so I personally would like to see it play out. Or it could be an absolute dumpster fire, as there is just so much that goes into running a successful automotive manufacturer. Either way, I will be watching intently and reporting.
