We now have a harness adapter!
This week, we received the harness adapter for our project lifted Civic. After about 3 weeks of waiting, we received it, test fitted it to the harness & it fits perfectly. Over the next few weeks, we will be pulling the existing harness off of the swap and retrofitting the old harness on. In the meantime, we are still waiting on some crucial parts to proceed.
Custom Parts & Delays:
As of this writing, we are still waiting a custom diff mount that will sit the differential a few inches lower. Our lift kit sponsors over at HRG Engineering have experienced a delay on making the custom piece needed to mount the differential. However, it’s not the end of the world. We have other pieces we can throw on the car in the meantime.
What’s next?
We will continue to chip away at the car until it is running. The goal is to fire it up within the next 3-4 weeks so we can focus on getting things like wheels and tires. Lastly, our last sponsor yet to be announced is waiting on one last part. We will let you guys know when it is in!
