NASCAR ran an extremely chaotic race over the weekend on the streets of Chicago, and it was everything that we could ask for as fans. This seemed so outside of NASCAR’s comfort zone, but that’s parts of what made it great. We had a torrential downpour, an extremely dangerous track, wrecks, pile-ups, aggressive passing, and drivers learning how to turn right. It was the perfect blend of chaos, entertainment, and good racing.
