Nissan is spiraling down the drain now. Anonymous Nissan execs admitted: Nissan only has 6-12 months left, they’re looking for investors, and all options are on the table. You think it’ll be Honda who bails/buys them out? Or more likely a Chinese carmaker looking for global access? The lesson is: You can’t make uninspiring mediocrity for decades, double-down on bad transmissions, and expect to survive just cause people need cars. It’s time for car companies to change their course & right their wrongs. Building uninspiring vehicles may work for a little while until Hyundai/Kia come around & can do it better. Nissan walked away from a once-loyal fanbase & an energizing lineup. And now the mascot of the brand is an Altima with its bumper hanging off.
