The best thing about rat rods, is that there are no parameters. No dress codes. Rats wear their scars. No two will ever be the same. Each one, is a new creation… not an impersonation. Decades, to nearly a century in the making. We can’t all drive rat rods, and we can’t all build rat rods. But the Instagrammy car generation could really pull themselves up on their feet if they took the rat principles to heart… and quit getting ever-intoxicated by the funneled-down, ‘promoted’ fashions on their newsfeeds. No one makes the rules.
