In the midst of their bankruptcy filing, it looks like Fisker has found a buyer for all of their inventory. A New York based company called American Lease will be purchasing all 3,231 Fisker Ocean SUV’s for a cut rate price. The total investment is rumored to be around $46.3 million, so they are looking at a little over $14,000 per vehicle. This is a heck of a lot less than the original sticker prices, which ranged from $40,000 to $70,000.

It sounds like American Lease is planning to lease the cars to rideshare users, which is a great plan because I don’t think anyone is really willing to buy these outright. Speaking of which, that’s who I feel the worst for in this whole situation. The people who actually paid big money to buy these Oceans are now all financially upside down and have no support for their cars when they do have issues. This is an ugly situation all around.
