This is an old feature we did in S3 Magazine hmmmm… I’m guessing about 7 years ago now. However, some cars just get better with age. It’s an E30 BMW that belongs/belonged to Kevve Raekelboom, an automotive photographer out of Belgium. And yes… he also shot the photos lol. Enjoy!
1983 BMW E30 320i
The engine is an M20 2.0 inline 6-cylinder. It’s a small 6 that makes killer sound!
The motor was rebuilt, and we added a custom, straight-piped exhaust.
It makes 190hp.
The suspensions a custom-build with AccuAir management & Viair compressors.
Wheels are VIP Modular VXS210 in 17×8 front, and 17×9 rear. They are a copper color with gold bolts. Tires are 185/30/17 in front, and 195/40/17 in the rear.
Exterior-wise, the E30 BMW has been resprayed in Lamborghini grey.
This E30 has the newer facelift frontend, but with a pre-facelift old-style bumper.
It’s got a DTM front lip, and original OEM Hella yellow headlights.
The brakes are all original, but with all new components.
And the inner inner wheel arches have been widened both front & rear.
Inside, it’s all matte black paint.
The carpet & rear seats were removed, and a Wiechers roll cage & Kirkey seats were installed.
New leather accentuates the dash, doorcards, and mid-tunnel.
