In this modern day, consumers are obsessed with tech. We just can’t get enough… even when it’s dumb & pointless & frustrating. So the big/fancy infotainment screens in Teslas caused big/dumb problems at Pikes Peak this year. Fog was an issue during the race. And when the inside of a couple Tesla’s windshields fogged-over during the run (due to abrupt changes in temp/humidity/elevation), their drivers lost significant pace trying to navigate through the overcomplicated touchscreens to find the defrost & regain vision. On the other hand, at Goodwood UK, an EV broke the overall record. So the potential is there… if we can just get out of our own dumb way lol.
