In this modern day, consumers are fixated on tech. We just can’t get enough… even when it’s dumb & pointless & frustrating. So the big/fancy infotainment screens in Teslas caused big/dumb problems at Pikes Peak this year. Fog was an issue during the race. And when the inside of a couple Tesla’s windshields fogged-over during the run (due to abrupt changes in temp/humidity/elevation), their drivers lost significant pace trying to navigate through the overcomplicated touchscreens to find the defrost & regain vision.
*On the other hand, at Goodwood UK, an EV broke the overall record. So the potential is there… if we can just get out of our own dumb way lol.
