“The all-electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona delivers up to 670 horsepower and is expected to reach 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, retaining its title as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car.” Ok first-off, we’re Not Sure about the accuracy or integrity of calling an EV a muscle car. But the purpose of this article is to relay information… not commentary. So we’ll save that for a later time. But to clear things up…

2024 Dodge Charger

The name Daytona now signifies an electric Dodge Charger.

Internal combustion variants of the new Dodge Charger will come at a later date (continue reading below). At launch however, all new Dodge Chargers will be EV. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack will be the most potent EV model, and it will cover quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds (estimated). There will also be a Charger Daytona R/T, slotted below the Scat Pack in the EV lineup.

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona models will feature standard Direct Connection ‘Stage Kits’ for maximum vehicle performance at launch. Translated, I assume that means: Pay-To-Unlock performance packages. All-wheel-drive is standard on all-new Dodge Charger models.

The EV Dodge Charger (aka: Daytona model)…

Gets a front R-Wing pass-through to ‘enhance aerodynamic downforce’. Dodge Charger Daytona models also sport the Fratzonic Chambered (fake) Exhaust delivering “Hellcat levels of sound intensity” that set the Charger apart from ordinary BEVs. We’re really gonna do the huh? The PowerShot feature (standard on Daytona/EV models), delivers an incremental 40 horsepower for 15 seconds when activated.

New Dodge Chargers offer the biggest tire package to date, with staggered Goodyears in 305 front & 325 rear. New Race Options include Donut Mode, Drift Mode, and two unique Race Prep options.

The future Charger lineup will ALSO include 2 internal-combustion engine options:

One) A 550-horsepower Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O.. And Two) A 420-horsepower Charger SIXPACK S.O.. Both are powered by the 3.0L Twin-Turbo I-6 Hurricane engine. The 2-door coupe versions of the EV Daytona Scat Pack & Daytona R/T will begin production in mid-2024. Meanwhile, production of 4-door Dodge Chargers (both EV & ICE), as well as the 2-door Hurricane models are scheduled to start early 2025.
