As some people may now know the venerable R32 will be soon discontinued. In it’s place will be R20. It’s basically an Audi S3 (they stole our name) with a GTI body on top. That is not a bad thing though it will come with an estimated 270 bhp. Being a VW, that means one lil ole flash – and it will be absolutely amazing. It is powered by the same 2.0t motor in my car but with (I can only assume) some kind of k04 variant and with AWD. That means it will actually have the ability to put it’s power down correctly (instead of spinning through the gears like an imbecile).
MKII + VR6 > R20…………not really but I like doing fun math with fun things other than numbers hee hee!
Anyone know when this is coming out? And how much?
2010ish and it will probably be priced right where the R32 is priced now…so probably high 20s…
