Wekfest Chicago 2025. Cody Martin sent us these pictures from Wekfest Chicago ’25. And damn, just damn, Chicago brings the heat. How?! I thought the streets were frozen 8 months a year lol? And I thought y’all just bowled & grew mustaches all winter lol. Is it family money that makes it happen? Ahhh Mob money?? Maybe it’s the hotdogs dontcha know. But in the words of Brian Spilner, “I know there’s no way in hell y’all paid for all the shit that under the hoods of those cars by doing tuneups & selling groceries.” Anyway, these Wekfest Chicago photos were taken just before gates opened & people flooded the frame. Enjoy.
Oberk Car Care…
First off, all the Oberk guys/cars are next level. Oberk is a car-care line by David Patterson. We featured his S2000 about a year ago, and I really enjoyed writing that article… felt like I hit on a good message there lol. Here is Brendon Reichard’s S15 Silvia.

Matt Conger’s 91 Toyota MR2 Turbo…
Matt actually has a website dedicated to his extensive MR2 ownership. To me, t-tops & pop-ups are the peak of rad-era car culture. When everything was about celebrating ‘the vibe’ of driving & being alive. Combine it with a sport-compact, turbocharged mid-engine platform, and sheesh, does it get any better?? The auto industry needs to take note… desperately.
Datsun Roadster Restomod…
This is Connor McElvain’s insanely custom (yet tasteful) Datsun. So good it hurts. This white Datsun was one of the winners of SEMA Young Guns 2024. Just let the photos sink in for a second.

Keith Fullhart’s Widebody Porsche 996…
If you want more photos/details of this widebody Porsche 996, check out the S3 feature we did on it last year. Killer car… as seen on the guy’s face below.
Hondas of Wekfest Chicago…
In no particular order, here are some of the Hondas from Wekfest Chicago 2025. It’s not ALL of them, but as the show opened up, catching clean photos became difficult.

Nissans of Wekfest Chicago…
And in no particular order, here are some of the Nissans from Wekfest Chicago 2025.
This FC RX7 had me buggin’…
About a dozen years ago, I bought a Turbo II RX7 for 300 bucks. The goal was to ‘learn rotaries’. And what I learned was… they’re from another planet lol. Nah the truth is, the car was stored at a buddy’s shop about 40 miles away, and I just couldn’t get over there regularly enough to make progress. So I sold it (still not running) for $750… and thought I’d come out on top. I lost. And the moral is: Never sell a car.
And speakin’ of ‘Buggin’…
Here’s one for ya… with a Subaru twist.
Enjoy the rest of the caravan from Wekfest Chicago 2025…
